does anyone know of a website that shows me how or where I can get a record of my where my property lines are? I'm trying not to hire a surveyor. In the front there is only one marker, but seems the inspector is not accepiting this, he wants to see it in writing

I am from Missouri and just had a roof installed. I previously had two of the flat vents, and two turbines. Now I only have two of the flatter vents on my roof. They must have roofed over my two turbine holes. On my order/contract it said, two flat vents and two turbines. I'm very ticked. I haven't contacted them yet today, but would like to know first just how serious this is. I heard that these vents help provide air circulation in your home and to let out the hot air in the summer months. Is that so, and am I justified to create a little stink about this?

I want to replace one of the panes of glass in my wooden door with a catflap. Do you think a carpenter or a glazier would be the right person to do this?

I have some old wood bedroom pieces from the 1920's that look really good, but there are some scratches and water stains on them. Are such issues easy for a regular person to fix or must I take them to a professional? Thanks!

The water seeps through the brickwork at the bottom of the wall I share with my neighbour

My home central air was perfect until my wife accidentally placed a box over the air return which restricted the air flow to the unit. That caused the evaporator or coil to freeze up along with the big copper freon line. Or I believe it's called the low pressure side.
It was frozen all the way to the condenser unit outside.
It was on after it froze for about 14 Hours before I realized that no cold air was coming out and the house was hot. So I removed the box, and turned it off for a whole day. After everything de-froze I turned it back on, and now there is a problem!!!
The line begins to freeze after an hour of it running. I'm sure no freeon leaked out, but can I have a damaged compressor? or do you think I may have to re-charge the unit? or maybe from the bad freeze, is there a posibility that the coil went bad? what should I do?
