I painted the bathroom radiator which has the towel rail above it. When I put the back after 2 days they marked the paint. I've repainted it, how long should I leave it this time?

Did use radiator paint, doesn't say on the tin in regards to putting things over the radiator, just when it should be touch dry- not the same thing.

Can only think the bathroom moisture content hindered the paint drying/curing. even ordinary household paint I would have expected to be ok in that time. Would have depended how thick you applied the paint though. The thicker the application of paint, although it will appear dry, will only have dried on the surface, underneath could still be pretty soft for quite a while, gradually hardening over time. To give a guide as to whether the paint has totally hardened right through push a fingernail into an inconspicuous part of the radiator, soft uncurred paint will easily mark.

Steam from showers and baths will really slow down the paint drying.

Depends on whether you used radiator paint or not. If you did then I can't see why it would not be dry after 2days.
