does anyone know of a website that shows me how or where I can get a record of my where my property lines are? I'm trying not to hire a surveyor. In the front there is only one marker, but seems the inspector is not accepiting this, he wants to see it in writing

you need to call a surveyor to mark your property lines. I am a surveyor and there isn't any other way to do it without cause problems with your neighbors or the local government.

sorry

Hi. The mortgage paperwork and deed usually have the definition of where the lines are. I'll bet if you look carefully you may find one or more of the other markers. Then you can measure to find the lines.

The only way to legally get this done is by hiring a surveyor.. and have it done on legal records.

Your property lines and house plans should be in the city records.

Grab a copy of your survey report for your property. If it's a new house, speak withteh developer. They should have enclosed a copy of the survey with the offer to purchase.

Your county property appraiser should have a record of your property lines.

If you have a mortgage you will already have a survey. Check with your real estate lawyer.
