I want to replace one of the panes of glass in my wooden door with a catflap. Do you think a carpenter or a glazier would be the right person to do this?

If the cat flap is to be fitted on the glass you need a glazier as the glass needs to be precisely cut to size. If you are replacing the glass with a cat flap instead check that if fits first.

Carpenter or glazier would charge you a lot more than a relative, man friend or general odd-job person

I'd ask a joiner personally but no doubt a carpenter could do it too

A carpenter or handy man.... if you can actually get one to turn up, on time, on the day they say or once started... finish the job!

Tshhh! Tradesmen!

I read your question wrong -I thought it said "who can fit in a cat flap?" - I was interested to know if anybody could, I can't.
