I purchased some wrought iron gates 18 months ago. They were powder coated in black and I was told they were galvanised and would not rust. I have chased it up with the company who claim that they had sub-let that part of the business and were not liable, however they have since taken the business back and can correct the problem for a fee.

My mother in law's above ground 16,000 gallon pool has not been 100% clear this season and at one point was super green...Last year she replaced the earth filter that she had since she bought the pool (15 years ago) with a sand filter...my husband installed it and it worked fine...this year no such luck...we've tried every chemical and vacuumed and scrubbed the sides and bottom and even got the pool place to (finally) come out and exchange the filter for free...and their people set up the new one...it's been 4 days and there's no change...what the heck could be the problem? Has this ever happened to anyone else? If someone can come up with a solution that we haven't tried I'll really be suprised...

A piece of lumber scratched it and took off the suede/felt. Is there a repair kit you can buy at a hardware store? Its about 4 inches long, and I hate to call an upholstery place since they are a little expensive. Thanks.

I live in Florida and on some of the homes there are these units out near the A/C that heats the water by using the exhausted heat from the A/C and sends it in to the hot water tank. Does anyone know what these units are called and do they still make them?
