Try looking up some local beekeepers, sometimes they will come and take away the bees for free just to get another hive started.

See if you can find someone who can come over, cover up & spray it with a household insect killer. I believe that they may make a Raid-like one for bees & wasps. Afterwards, have the nest knocked down by a strong spray or so from a hose. We used to have to do something similar when I was little. We always got bee hives/wasp nests right underneath the ladder to a playhouse my dad built us.

There are wasps/bees sprays available in Home Depot and other home improvement stores for $4. I have tried one from Ortho (thats the brand I trust). It kills on contact and can easily be sprayed from a 6-8 feets distance. I have tried it on wasps, yellow jackets with the nest as big as 4-5 inches.

Get a neighbor or family member to put on eye protection, a dust mask, coat and scarf with leather gloves and spray the lights out with Maxide wasp and hornet spray ( I purchased at home improvement store).
Apply twice and do it later in the evening when the critters aren't active.

worked for me just last week.

I had a similar problem one summer. We had a wasps nest outside our back door and a steady stream of wasps coming and going all the time. I tried spraying them, blocking the hole to thier nest. Keeping the kids from them was very hard. My husband was stung and he's allergic too.

I finally dressed into my husbands clothes (he's bigger than me) and covered all areas. I taped up seams and covered my head. It was hot summer weather so I had to work fast. I poured a kettle of boiling water down the hole and waited. All the wasps in the hole were dead. The ones flying back didn't want to go in. Yay! It had worked and they didn't come back!

I wish you success in this!

get a couple of rail road flares, light them and let the smoke cover the bee hive and it will put them to sleep. also you can call a bee charmer in your area and they will come and get it for the honey.
