Depends..Sometimes the drip can come from a clogged drain line. If that's the case, you may can fix that yourself. Different fridges have different places that the lines are located. If you can, pull out your fridge and look beside the compressor to see if you see the drain line, if you do, then try to clean it with a cotton swab-or blow some air into it-that should release the clog. You need to look in your fridge and freezer if you don't see the line behind the fridge.
It could be the seal too. Check for cracks, etc. These basics you should be able to take care of yourself.

hello,,,,,,more than likely you can fix this problem yourself,,,, sounds like one of three things,,, ill walk you through how to check,,,, first question ? does it seem to leak about 2 times a day,,, if so,, if it is a side by side,,,look in freezer on bottom floor to see if there is ice,,, if yes the drain is stopped up,,, same in top mount,, look for ice in freezer bottom,,, break ice away and use hot water to unstop drain,, most of the time if it is top mount ,,it will drip in refrigerator,,second it could be a pin hole in water line, if so replace line, third,,look at bottom of freezer door,,pop off grill and push in water despensor ,,look for water leak,,,,hope this helps some,,, ,,
