We have moved into this older but expensive house 1.5 yrs ago. From day 1, smelt this really annoying stink seem to be coming from the crawlspace. Have tried plumber, pest control and home inspectors. Noone can identify the type of the smell nor can they find the source or solution.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Ok I've bought a house and had nothing but probs with the 30ftx18ftx4ft above ground pool. I finally have the water blue but cloudy. Here r the results from the water test done at the pool store. Free chlorine 0.1 ppm Total Chlorine .1 ppm PH 7.4 Hardness 220ppm Alkalinity 100ppm Cyanuric Acid 53ppm Theu said I just need 6 ounces of shock. I just did a double shock on Friday. We didn't swim all weekend. And only about 2 inches of rain. I have 1 chlorine tablet in my floater. Why can we not keep chlorine in our pool. Water temp is 84 degrees. Help please!! We are considering draining the dumb thing this winter and getting a new one. We bought the house and the water was green when we moved in. We got it this far but need a little more help.

My neighbors found a water leak coming from the ceiling. She called a plumber which told her that the source of the leak comes from my apartment. 2 hours later I called the same plumber to fix the leak, of course I paid for the service. Apparently the same plumber asked money from my neighbor for the diagnostic. Now my neighbors is asking me to pay that bill. Should I pay?

I have 5 problems with my apartment. My landlord and i have discussed these matters and he has promised to fix them; 3 months later...no results. are there any laws that require him to follow through on his word? as of now, there is: 1. a wasp nest on my back porch 2. no light in my very dark hallway 3. a faulty smoke detector right outside of my front door 4. graffiti on my building 5. no mechanical device on the gate that leads to my yard and back entrance. Keep in mind that he has told me on numerous occasions that he would fix these things, but he has done nothing and my patience is wearing thin. my safety is at stake here (vandals only got into my yard because there is no lock on my gate). if you don't know of any laws that protect renters, what would you do to persuade your landlord to take action? only serious responses, please.

I think they have not been changed since the 1930s or 40s and may have been finished then, but never really kept up. Basically, I want to know what products are best to clean them.
