Even if it is central air it is likely your trap that is plugged causing the leak. If you arent afraid of working with PVC cut off the little trap blow it out and put it back together.

It is normal for any airconditioner to get moisture build up on the coils (condensation). This builds up enough until it starts beading and running off of the coils. (dripping)
If this is a window unit, and it is leaking INSIDE the home.. tilting it farther back will help it drain to the outside better.
If this is a central air unit.... it will have a drain pan, as you mentioned, and somewhere on that drain pan, is a drain tube. Most likely it is a simple flexible plastic tube. Often, these tubes get clogged up with dirt... you can either replace the tube, or clean it out. Ive used a piece of electrical wire, to successfully clean out these tubes.
Another important, but often overlooked item, is where does the drain tube come out of the home at? if it simply falls thru the floor, and allows the condensation to empty under the home... this is not good... get a piece of pvc pipe, and run the drain to the outside of the home. This will prevent a moisture build-up, under the home, which eventually works its way up thru your walls, and can cause all sorts of problems there, from warped lumber, to mold, etc. Its an easy fix.
Good Luck!
