Over the last two summers all of my potted plants have died, except one. I don't know what is going on but they have all started out strong then something is getting to them and killing them. The literally just start shiverling up and dying. Does anyone have an idea as to what's happening and what product I can use to stop it and save the one that's trying to die on me now. It's a flowering plant my youngest daughter planted for me in school for Mother's Day and it was doing great at first but bit by bit it has started to wither also......HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I noticed colored s/f for sale. They are not spray painted. Are they watered with colored water or possibly cut then placed in colored H20 to absorb the color? When placed in a vase of water the water turned color. They are red and orange. Anyone know how to achive this? Thanks.

I purchased the tubers, but I am going to be away in October, for 3 weeks, back Nov and they wont be watered etc. If I cant stop them, what is the best way to leave them wtih minimal watering etc.
I had an idea that maybe I cant stop them from sprouting by putting them in the fridge wrapped in newspaper? Any ideas would be appreciated
thanks

Are the plums ripe yet?

How about apples, damsons, pears or blackberries?

I know - weird question, but we go to some abandoned orchards each year to get the fruit. Trouble is, we live 2 hours away so it would be nice to know if the fruit was ready first!

I have a 7 year old Black Walnut that lost it's growth tip at about 4 feet. My husband has talked me out of pruning it for the last three years. Now it has bushed out and is creating a canopy that is too low for the location. I need to cut off four of the five limbs that come out at four feet, but I am wondering if I can safly remove that much tree in one winter.

Right in the middle of Lincoln Rd mall is this wild looking tree. This is only one of two trees I have ever seen like this since moving to South Florida. It is big and has orchid-looking flowers hanging down and also has large fruit resembling an eggplant (but green). No body has ever been able to tell me what this is. Here are pictures of the tree. http://www.deancoleman.com/tree.htm Any ideas?

I've heard of use for soil, but is thier a manner in which you should use it. Sell to your local nursary. Throw it on the side of a hill so I don't get weeds? HELP
