with them in my front yard? If so, how do I do it?

dry seeds , place in small foam cups filled with soil,
place 2 seeds to a cup, water , sit on a window sill so they can get sun light,, keep soil moist,
when they sprout let them grow till , spring then trans plant.

They can indeed, but some need to be pollinated by other trees, and it can take many years before they are ready to fruit well.

they would sprout maybe but would never make a tree,,,,,,most fruit trees are grafted,,,,,,,,,,,
