i need to test some soil. i was wondering if anybody could tell me where i could do that in massachucets. i live in shelburne falls MA and i would like to find a place close to there. thankyou.

I live in South Dakota and went to my county "extension" office (Agriculture) and asked them. They gave me a bag and an application form to the soil testing lab at SDSU, which happens to have a large agriculture department.

Try a University which has an agriculture program.
There may be private labs, or a department of agriculture.
Else inquire at the local garden centres.

if you go to a garden center they can help you in that area.
