Are the plums ripe yet?

How about apples, damsons, pears or blackberries?

I know - weird question, but we go to some abandoned orchards each year to get the fruit. Trouble is, we live 2 hours away so it would be nice to know if the fruit was ready first!

Will Herefordshire do?
The plums are ripe, so are the damsons, the blackberries are just about ready.

Happy scrumping.

If you are referring to Bristol, Ten and Birm, Alabama then here you go. Plums, your too late, apples, could be; pears, they're falling off the trees, berries, you missed those by a mile.

Hmm blackberries are great here now - Worcestershire - as are the apples but they are still very small. Need another couple of weeks I think.
