Because I tried it . It worked for two weeks . Then one day I look at my front yard and it was gone!!! Can someone please HELP ME!!!! I have now treated the yard for grub worms. And then I have replanted grass seeds. I hope this works . Can someone give me some advice?

Read the label on the grass seed package. Some cheap stuff is annuals so that it grows fast, but it doesn't last till next year. Good seed mixtures have some annual grass so it gets started looking good but the rest of it is perennial grass so it lasts for years.

If yours started and then died off even before winter they probably did not get enough watering during their delicate early weeks.

There are annual and perennial grass seed. It is good to mix 2 kinds together so that one will come on quick and shade the other longer lasting grass which will then take over.. Weather and bugs can effect a lawn drastically. Maybe this time it will go better.

best time to seed is early spring or in the fall and lightly rake the seed in to the ground
