If you mean little chilli peppers - just put a fewpots on your kitchen windowsill! I am pants at growing plants but I bunged a few chilli seeds in pots, threw a bit of water at them every now and then and got loads of chillis from the plants!!

Chillies are easy. Grow them just as you would tomatoes. Sow the seeds Feb/ Apr, in a good quality compost. Once they have germinated transplant into 3" pots and grow on until they are about 6" high. Pot these plants into a 9" pot and grow on. As the plants start to flower it is very important to mist in order for the fruit to set. If you don't then the flowers fall off and you get no chillies. Feed weekly with tomato food.
As you don't have a greenhouse then you should try a variety called Prarie Fire, very hot and a very compact plant. You can grow chillies outside but the hotter you grow these plants the hotter the chillie will be. Watch out for greenfly. Hope this helps you.

They are easy to grow. I haven't grown chilli peppers, only sweet peppers, usually on a sunny windowsill, and outdoors in a good summer. A poly house should be OK.

Take a look at the seed catalogues, Thompson and Morgan for instance and look up peppers (chili/hot) you'll find a few varieties listed, different sizes from pots on the patio to greenhouses, and heats from mild to atomic.

There's also UK Chili Farm for a useful growing guide.

Have you got room on a sunny window sill?

They need plenty of sun, but can take up a lot of room.

In essence though; plant the seeds in Feburary, keep the soil moist but not swamped and repot into a bigger container in April or May. Make it big with plenty of space if you're going to keep it indoors.

Very easy just plant seeds and water daily and watch them grow. They might be slow at first but once they take off they will bloom like no tomorrow.

Hmmm, I don't know how much warm weather your receive, sunlight and how well the soil drains. I'm assuming your longer summer daylight hours would help.........but I'm not certain. Give these guys a note, they'd be able to tell you more and if not possible, why not.
