I just recently recieved as a gift a wandering jew plant. When I got it, it was in bad shape, seriously overwatered. I think it was purchased at a grocery store, and you know how they just water everything every day whether it needs it or not. I've had it for three weeks now, and I water it about once a week, when the soil is dry. It's in a hanging pot by a window. I fed it once with some miracle grow, and that seemed to make a change for the better (it no longer looks near death). I know it's getting plenty of sunlight because it has perked up considerably and started to grow and stretch it's stems out. The one problem is that the leaves on the underside of the stems are rotting near the base of the plant. I'm not sure how to stop it. Will it just take a while for the plant to recover from it's foul treatment, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help you can give me.
