I would like to put white pebbles on my garden so it looks tidier than the old stringy bark mulch, does anyone know what I have to do first as the soil looks very lacklustre. Wld the pebbles do further harm? Will pull out a lot of the old plants and just retain palms and bromilaids to save water... etc

i think this plant is a Heptapleurum - a nice 3 ft. fingerleaved plant. i have moved into a bsmt apartment a few months ago and it got sick. the growing conditions are ok and there is lots of light.
the leaves 'grow' brown patchy areas on them and fall off, sometimes the whole stalk falls off from the stem or is easily pulled off if one of the leaves has begun to turn already.
it has lost half of it's foliage .
i have decreased watering and removed all bad foliage as i see it. i have also sprayed with a fungicide (but maybe i need a different one ?) and watered with the fungicide.
does anyone have any helpful suggestions? i don't want to lose this plant.

The plants were put in the ground the last week of September, they are about 4 feet tall with loads of foliage and some blooms but the blooms but never has had any tomatoes. I broke some of the stems back as I thought they may be taking all the nutrients.
I used tomato food and potting soil at the beginning and water almost daily.

I would prefer non-chemical solutions if possible. I have heard bi-carbonate soda can be used. Does anyone know how to do this?

Well, the title of this question has nothing to do with the question itself, but I bet it got your attention.

Anyway, does anyone know how to tell if a marijuana/ganja plant is male or female?

my neighbor won't cut his weeds!!!?
My next door neighbor has not cut his weeds and grass for the longest time. We live in California and so their is no reason for him not to cut it. He does work a lot and so I rarely see him and when I do see him he does seem like a decent man but I'm a little disappointed in the way he doesn't maintain his yard. We live in a safe neighborhood and all the neighbors maintain it but what should I do??

My lawnmower has become crazy - at first, it was pretty laid back, and wanted to hang out and such. We even went to the movies sometimes. I talked about replacing it with a riding mower, since I am so lazy. Now it is demanding premium fuel, oil changes all the time, and threatening to shred my hedges if I don't comply. What should I do?
