it is not ejecting the string..im ready to throw it out of the door. it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. it is a weed eater and i need that to help with the lawn. i have fixed it so many times and it keeps messing up.

You may be putting the string on too tight. It can be pretty aggrevating. Look your instructions over thoroughly. If all else fails I would upgrade. I've never known Black and Decker to carry humdingers of a weedeater.

[With the exception of the chain saw,] I have given up on 2-cycle engines [blower, weedeater, etc] as I just can't keep them starting. I bought an 18volt B & D cordless trimmer 3 yrs ago and it's by far my FaVoRiTe garden tool. I thot it expensive [$80], but I've never looked back: it always Starts! Like yours,
mine mostly doesn't feed out the string; I have to turn the thing upside down, loosen the holding cap & pull out line. But I put up with that, because it always starts [& after it starts ~ it works!].
P.S. I bought a second battery because one battery's life doesn't last long enuf to get the job done.

Practice for the Olympics and see how far you can throw that thing.
