Hi all! Can any of you tell me if there is a way to make a fig tree stop producing it's fruit? I know it sounds horrible but they are just so messy. We have this huge fig tree in our back yard, about 30 feet tall. It's a nice big full tree and the fruit is very good. I like the tree and I love the shade it produces in the hot summer. I just don't like the mess that it makes in the yard. When my son goes out to play he is stepping all over the fallen figs and it gets pretty messy. Is there a way to keep this lovely tree from producing fruit? Thanks

I was under the impression that zoysia grass was a very hearty grass and would take over most other grasses, which is fine with me because I prefer it. But my zoysia seems to be losing out to some type of clover. I've fertilized to no avail. Any suggestions?

We have a large plant - thats basically a tree - in our house it has wilting leaves. It's starting to be eaten. I am positive that there is nothing actually wrong with the tree as it is still growing well with beautiful new shoots. One day when I was taking the dead leaves off the plant I saw a white caterpiller that moved very fast and was tiny. We bought some bug killer for indoor plants but that doesn't seems to have helped the problem. Any ideas?

I'm looking for any answers to how i can kill these bushes because they look awful!! I have no clue what they are, they have a tough root system and tough branches. Any help would be great!!!

All tropical trees are discounted right now, so I want to buy some. But its about 30F at night and 55F during the day here in southeast Texas. If I buy some should I plant them immediately, keep them in what they came in or just don't buy them??

I just bought a house with a fruit bearing naval orange tree. I do not know how to take care of it and the fruit is very sweet. I would hate for something to happen to it.

I don't want to hire someone to do this, i have a chain saw to cut it down with, it's the root system i'm concerned with, whats the best way to be rid of it besides digging it up, i know that option. I was told after cutting it down , drill holes down into the trunk and fill with kerosene and let sit for 1 year filling the holes with kerosene periodically and then burn the root system out , will this work?
