My balcony gets no sun at all through winter, and just 3-4 hours of morning sun in summer. I would like a couple of flowering pot plants that will be able to cope with the lack of sun in the sydney climate.

For some reason, my roommate has been asking me to help him find a plant called salvia divinorum locally. Does anybody know any local retail stores or what kind of stores would have it?

I have a rose at the moment, and I really don't want it to die. At the same time, I don't want to have to go to the store to buy flower food (unless it's my only option.)

Is there anything I could use around the house or something to keep it alive?

Any ingredient to make flower food for the rose?

I heard cold water might do, but it's not exactly helping. It's still living, but slowly dying.

Just moved out to the country in Clovis, CA. It is very hot during the summer. I have almost 40,000 square feet of lawn that looks to be a mix of mostly bermuda with some fescue. It got really cold a couple weeks ago and now lawn is starting to turn brownish/green. Is it common for Bermuda to "die" and come back up ? Everyone I know tells me this is the case, but I hate the way it now looks. Any way to keep Bermuda green year round ? If not when will it start to turn green again ? Thanks so much for anyone who can help me

When fall came, both yards began growing mushrooms everywhere, hundreds of them. I assume the moisture aided them. I live in Sacramento (Nor. Cal.). Is this common? Is there a fungicide specifically for lawns? Thanks.

Each fall - winter season, ladybugs congregate by the hundreds in my office, they seem to stay in the corners of the windows, upper corners where the walls meet. They fly around or drop from the ceiling. I was told that they are attracted to white. my office is all white and made of center blocks.

There is a person in my neighborhood who disposes of a large quantity of dry leaves each fall by tilling them into a field. They are not composted, they are collected and applied within 2 -3 weeks. He applies them from 2 - 6 inches thick, then tills then in. Is this good or bad for the soil? Does it matter that the soil is cold at the time of application?
