depends on your climate region. buffalograss is typically a very hardy, cold, heat, and especially drought tolerant plant for low maintenance areas like roadsides. So if you live in the Mid-west U.S. you might have missed your window to plant this fall but you can try early next spring. p.s. let me know how it turns out for you! :-)

You can plant it any time. It will germinate when the conditions are right
