table salt does yeah, but epsom salt will give you some of the most beautiful roses you have ever seen

don't worry about the sun melting the salt, its the water when you water or the rain on the salt that drives the salt into the ground and the root system of the plants and flowers.
I use salt to rid areas of unwanted trees and stumps.

yes it will the flower or plant will have salt on them naturly and if there is salt that we eat o it it will burn up form the suns rays
