My balcony gets no sun at all through winter, and just 3-4 hours of morning sun in summer. I would like a couple of flowering pot plants that will be able to cope with the lack of sun in the sydney climate.

try fushia's...they don't like direct sun for long periods and do best in morning sun and afternoon shade. You can hang them or put them in non hanging pots and let them trail. There are many beautiful colors available and different bloom shapes.

Potted flowers outdoors desire a lot of water so this is not likely which you're overwatering it. maximum tomato flowers will wilt after an afternoon interior the sunlight. Does it look stable as new interior the morning? if so, then this is in undemanding terms the sunlight wilt. If it nonetheless seems fairly droopy interior the morning, it fairly is available which you have different subjects. might desire to be to moist once you're fairly pouring the water to it, might desire to be that the plant is getting root certain in its field...or it fairly is even available that the plant has some form of illness. Do you notice any sign of recognizing or browing on the leaves?

poinsettias , and begonias .both are water friendly , and although the poinsettia doesn't exactly have a flower ( the bracts of the leaves come out in a beautiful red colour ) the begonias are also euphorbia / succulent and you can get many varieties that should suit your conditions --- have a chat at someone at a reputable nursery . good luck
