Use a virtual/electronic fence (the kind with a special collar). It worked REALLY well for a friend with a crazy lab that would tear up neighbors lawn, jump in their pools etc

Again.. just NOT ENOUGH information provided by you.. HOW and where is it escaping? If it is UNDER the fence... or under the gate... it cannot be solved unless you do what I have done several times in the past where I have lived.. You MUST put stone or cement made stones in the ground UNDER the gate and/or under the fence area.. In that way.. the dog just cannot dig into the cement to dig a hole to escape.. I do not know if that has been your problem because you did not explain well enough what the problem was

.....Repair the fence and / or get one high enough to prevent poor little bored 'Eddy' froming jumping it.
