See I have a chin link fence but I want more privacy, I haven't been able to bushes or vines in my area that can handle the extrame heat here

try bouganvilla,trumpet vine,or some types of clematis will also take the heat if you cover the roots well.

My weather is not as extreme as yours. We can hit over 100 for a month at a time. We have star jasmine that takes the heat very well and stays green all year around. I had a honeysuckle that grew so fast that I got rid of it within a year. There might be a honeysuckle that will stay green all year. A lot would depend on your winter weather.

Mandevilla I have one of these they latch on to my chain link fence and go crazy the grow like a vine. They have large leaves on them and really pretty large flowers mine are pink but I think they come in other colors of flowers. Hope this helps

Try Pampas Grass. (Ask at the nearest plant nursery).
