I live in Tennessee. We've been experiencing a week and a half of unseasonably warm weather. For instance, it's supposed to get up to 74 degrees F today, November 29th. I looked out at my garden and saw that the new Dutch Discovery Iris bulbs I put in late October are poking out!

Will they survive the winter? It is forecast to get down below freezing by Friday. Can I please have some advice to keep them from dying through the freeze because they have already started to sprout?

My sister thinks she is destined NOT to own a garden gnome.
I thought that I could find one for her in time for Christmas, but it is proving to be impossible! I live in the GTA so, anywhere within an hours drive, I will go.

I received a poinsettia last year for christmas and kept it alive and growing all year. Now it is getting some red leaves on it but I'm afraid that it will not be near as nice as it was last year by christmas.

At work, they are in the sun, they are not being fertilized or over-watered, yet they are a vibrant green with lots of growth and no flowers. Also, to keep it within bounds and train it to go up the wall, my boss has been pruning the tips. I told him maybe he should take out some at the base, but was not sure how much to take out. Right now, it is a bush, about 3.5' tall and 4' wide. How much should we prune to train it away from the walk and how can we get it to flower?

Trying to germinate some peach pits from some grocery store peaches to plant. We've tried half immersing them in water and keeping them on water soaked cloth but have had no luck. Any suggestions?

Someone gave me a link on how long to store veggies and it says not to store them in plastic bags. I had put mine in ziplock, I doubt it will hurt me but how am I supposed to store them?

Did you grow it indoors or out? Why do they say that you can't eat the bananas? Thank you! I saw a starter tree for $25.

I live in Northern Canada (mostly due to work reasons) and I have an apartment with a balcony. Sadly, it seems no one around here keeps plants outside. I like to have some green in my balcony, but with wind temperatures dropping to -60 F every day, all plants I've tried to grow out there just freeze and die.

Does anyone have a recommendation on what sort of plants are hardy enough to resist weather this cold? They must be rather small, so I can keep them in my pots.
