I haven't seen any plants that don't do well! I'm assuming you follow the standard directions of proper watering, and shade for the ones that prefer it.

Check with the local landscaper for their suggestions...they only plant what they know a homeowner can keep alive!

Lucky you, living in the most condusive state in the US for growing anything. Hibiscus, roses, bird of paradise, fruit trees, hosta, geranium, impatiens, ferns, herbs, (pant pant) sweet williams, phlox, stocks, zinnia, crysanthemum, (deep breath) cosmos, snap dragons, asters, gerbera daisies, pansies, (phew!) coral drops, dianthus, cyperus, four o'clock, ginger, (gasp) basically anything with roots, leaves, and/or flowers will grow there.

I have seeds, want some? You may contact me through my avatar.

Azaleas, bleeding heart, Sweet William, pansies, petunias (although they do stink lol), crepe myrtle (that's a tree, but they are beautiful when they flower in spring, and you can buy them as saplings), begonias, coleus....

I grew up in southwest Georgia, which has a very similar climate, and I remember my grandmother growing these flowers in her garden when I was a kid. Hope this helps. :)
