Can they make black calla lillies? Do they need to be dye or sprayed with paint or something? Also, to keep them forever, is there a certain spray I can use on them to keep their shape? Thanks in advance!

I live in So Cal and had St. Augustine sod installed in July. There are some bare spots on the lawn and I'd like to know the proper time of year to plant grass seed in the bare spots. Is March too early?

The Absolutely Apes exhibit at the San Diego Zoo has this really cool rubber mulch. It isn't the loose stuff that is commonly available, but is all sort of "glued" together. It is nice and spongy, you can walk on it in bare feet, and because it is all glued together, it stays where you want it. Anyway, does anyone know where to get this stuff?

Disneyland has the exact same stuff in a playgroud in Toontown.

I planted tomatos the last 3 yrs and they will not grow, what is wrong with the poor little things, their about the size of golf balls.
I live in WV. "oh" they are Reg tomatos too, not cherry's.
I buy the plants at diffrent stores, but they still won't produce good tomatos.

I have a Royal Poinciana tree planted in my back yard. The tree is about 12’ tall and 4-6 years old. When I bought it from a nursery 3 years ago it had some blooms on it. The tree did not have a single bloom since then. I am not sure what I can do to get it blooming again. Any Ideas?

If I take out a major root of a tree that is cracking my foundation near the house, will I create the potential for the tree to fall toward the house? What is the risk for the tree when you cut a major root? The tree is 120-feet tall and only 5 feet from the house, so we don't want to damage the tree or create a situation where it may fall and kill us in our sleep.

She wanted to originally use bulbs but I reminded her that most only bloom once a year. I suggested some perrenials and some annuals. (like cone flowers, delphinium, daisy's etc...) Any suggestions? I am trying to think easy as I don't want to do the work.....
