Havent got much space to grow them or any other veg, but was hoping that if I had a huge tub made from wood or something that they would grow in there? or do the roots go down so deep that this would not be possible? Thinking about 12ft x 4ft & about 3 or 4ft deep?

I saw it today on my window and stopped the car and got out, then never saw it again but it's in there somewhere and I'm arachniphobic. It's important to kill it before tomorrow morning because it looked like one of those jumping spiders and if one lands on me I'm liable to wreck. I don't want to use a pesticide because of the fumes and it could damage the car's interior. I know spiders eat only live insects, not dead ones.

We just moved into a new place with a number of rose bushes, some of them seem to have for a lack of a better word berries on them. I don't know if these are new flowers coming and I should leave them alone or if they are old and I should prune them off. HELP

Ball park figures only! To landscape around the perimeter of a typical 1800 sq. ft. ranch style home.. Using median price stone, and median priced plants, what would one expect to see on an estimate!

I've planted some redwood seeds in a pot in my cube at work, I keep it well watered but it's just sitting under an artificial fluorescent light. Will the seeds grow or do they need the outdoors and real sun?

I like to make my own garland with fresh evergreens but would like to preserve them in glynerine so they last longer - I don't know how long this process takes. Thank you

I have an Orchid I got at safeway, stem is about 2 feet long and brown, leaves fell off, but bottom 6 inches of stem are still carrying water and bottom inch is green. I took it out of the windowsill cuz i heard that was bad, just gave it a little bit of dilluted food and i've been watering it about once a week. it's now in the livingroom where it will get a moderate amount of indirect light. think it will come back? if i buy a new one, what is the best way to take care of it?

I have an orange tree in the backyard. Last year it gave us nice oranges, this year it has a bunch of small oranges that are all split open. I don't have anything close to a green thumb - more of a "thumb of death" when it comes to plants. Any tips for helping out my poor orange tree?
