Am I a weirdo, or do other people do this too?

They are beneficial for the lawn, too; they aerate the soil.

earthworms are not disoriented at the rainy season, it when the soil is inundated with water, they can not breath, so they climb out of the soil for a breath of air, they dig in right after the amount of water in the soil lessens and air flow back into the soil. if you push the worms back into the soil you choke them.

the worms are drawn to the heat on the pavement so leave them where they are they will find there own way back under ground when it stops raining. the less we meddle in the ways of nature the better it is.

I tuck them under the mulch in my garden. With their help I grew tomatoes in honest to goodness clay taken out of an old clay pit. without tilling!!!

If the birds don't eat them, the worms find their way back into the ground once it dries up.

no,i thought they're drowning.i even call it worm attacks! i got loads of them on my walls it's too much of a hassle to pick them one by one so they just dried up.and well yes put them back in the grass as fertiliser?.

HAHA I smile each and all the time...solutions/questions/no longer something regardless of that's...I smile.... shall all of us smile... :D yet u understand what the "solutions" on your question disenchanted me a sprint...i became the smile king till at last I examine "Do you unquestionably smile once you place :) on your" and then there became "solutions"...I had the grimy kitchen in my ideas activated already yet........
