I had bees and wasps in my little oak tree in the front yard and it seems that at least the bees have moved over to my shrubs in front of windows. Help! How can I get rid of them!?

I have this old tree stump in the front yard. Removing it is out of the question for now, so what could I do to make it look more appealing in the yard? The more suggestions the better.

They are roughly the size of aphids, but they are fat and rarely move. They have infested my impatiens and cause the foliage to wither and die. What are they and how do I get rid of them? I have tried wiping the leaves with diluted dish detergent, but they keep coming back. Any suggestions? I'd prefer not to use pesticides, but may as a last resort.

I am thinking of buying this kind of thing:

MPR10 Ultra Magnetic Pest Repeller
http://www.martleyelectronics.co.uk/pestcontrol-rodent.html#rp110

or this
PestClear (Pest-Stop) 2000 Pest Deterrent
http://www.martleyelectronics.co.uk/pestcontrol-rodent.html#pestcontro

to get rid of the mice in a flat I've just rented. Does anyone have any experience?

my gardener hasnt been well. As I was clearing up I discovered a pile of jelly-like balls, about the size of frog-spawn (or that really large tapioca) in the middle of the lawn. There was about 2 large cupfulls and they were clear, dark-green colour. Any idea what on earth it could be? I live in Northern Ireland. Thought perhaps slugs but I read they lay up to 35 eggs underground at a time. There were hundreds of these jelly balls and they were on top of the grass !

All of them in a lil cookie jar.
I did this once with a banana spider and a wasp, but never a lizard. They didnt fight tho, they just kept being puscs.
BTW, are banana spiders like the one showed in this picture poisonous? http://www.paulstravelpictures.com/Banana-Spider-And-Wasps/Wasps-Banana-Spider-TN.JPG
I seen this one in my yard pretty often. I splatter all spiders i see.

I have had cilantro seeds in a single layer of tissue (at first like 8 layers) for three days and nothing has happened. How long does it take a seed to start growing? This is an experiment for my daughter so I don't want to disappoint her, but I don't want to wait forever either. Any ideas?
