If your Miss Huff looks bad, no blooms unhealthy leaves, then yea go ahead and cut it as far back as you need to. Don't know where you are, the south mabe, but don't worry if you see new growth coming back before a hard winter, the cold will take care of it. It's the roots that should concern you. If you are in the south and you like lantana, try new gold, it comes back in Georgia. Also purple trailing lantana, it does'nt smell as good as the other lantanas, it is more of a ground cover also white trailing, theres Irene, a orange red color, Lemon drop, yellow, Lola, goldish yellow, Pink Caprice, pink with yellow flowers, silver mound, and Carlos which the nursery I grow for introduced, it is a deep red and orange, there are so many lantanas, White flies are attracted to this plant so have insecticde on hand. I hope you give these other lantanas a try this summer. HAPPY GROWING!!

Yes but do it in winter when the plant is not flowering but don't go over 1/2 of the plant's size or you'll kill it also don't apply fertilizer until spring because you'll force it and it'll stop it's flower production
