My oak tree finally dropped the last of its leaves. Should I rake them up or mow over them with my mulching mower to kind of feed the lawn? Main reason I'm asking is that I live in northern wisconsin, and am not sure if it is good for the grass to be cut this late in the season (is well below freezing every morning)

I keep getting these black things on the leaves of my gardenia plant & it's killing the leaves & the flower buds before they have time to bloom. It ends up killing my plant. I keep buying gardenias & the same thing happens every time.I bought a chemical free bug spray recommeded by an employee from Home Depot. The spray only lasted about a week & these black spots reappear on the leaves again. I cleaned the leaves with rubbing alcohol & they still come back. A friend told me to ferterlize the plant & that didn't work either. What else can I do? I left one plant in the pot & I planted one in the ground & eventually the black spots appeared & it's killing the plant. Help!!

Builder left big gaps between roof surface and adjoining gables. Have multiple wasp nests (red/gold/brown) that have infested front of house. Pest extermination (dusting/spraying) does not help and no clear shot at the nests (inside of crevices)

My co-worker bought some Macintosh Apples, and they were great. I would like to grow them in my yard, but I don't know how to start. I want to make sure I get the same result as the apple I tasted.

I have a flower bed by my front porch that never gets direct sunlight. Whats a good plant that will live all year round and is pretty and low maintenance? We live in Oklahoma where the winters are fairly mild.

I have some of friend and relatives asking for design their home garden. Honestly said since I do learn the subject and practices it, kind of common sense when you use to hang with the thing again and again. May I know what is the problem your're facing when you're try to do you own landscape/garden design :)

I am trying to kill my entire lawn, so I can re-seed it with grass. I need a quick and effective way to kill it. I wanted to rent a tiller and use that to uproot the weeds, but the man I talked to said they'd come back in a few days unless I killed it first. I've never tried to do anything like this before and am not sure exactly what to do. Please give some advice on how to make my lawn presentable again. It's full of weeds, and has terrible soil.
