Landscape Architects plan and design Landscapes, Parks Urban areas that surround buildings. They can specialise in particular areas like Park or playground design. They basically design the layout and place elements in the landscape from plants to structures etc. These plans are then approved by town planners etc and then constructed by Landscapers or horticulturalists.

landscape architects design hardscapes such as walls, and paver patios, pool decks, etc. The plant list and and placement are done by a landscape designer.
