I live in Georgia, USA. I have my Chrysantemum in a container outside on my porch, which has no roof. We only have a few hard freezes and I'm wondering if my chrysanthemum needs trimming and when to do it. Where I live we are still having 60 dec. weather off and on until Dec or so. I'm also wondering if I should just trim the dead flowers off and leave it alone....??

I would really like to start my own bee farm. Nothing big, just 1 beehive. I looked online, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Could someone make a list of steps that I could follow? I've never worked with bees before, and I don't want to do it for industry, just a fun pasttime. Are there any tools I need? Etc? Thank you in advance.

I got a rubber tree from my mother after my father funeral. I am losing a lot of leaves, mostly lower ones. I water it about once a week. Let it get dry then water it. It is in a small pot. Its about 3 feet tall. My mother could not keep it because of her cats. I dont want to lose this plant. It reminds me of my dad. Please help.

I need to get a maple tree trimmed because of snow damage. I also have 2 cottonwoods that need trimming. I don't want it to cause disease in any of them but it is cheaper to have them all done at once.

I've been growing Cayenne peppers all summer and have had great results. How can I keep the same plant for next summer? Do I cut it down?? I've moved the plant inside, but the aphids are killing me (they won't go away) and I want to just put the plant into hibernation. Please help!

8a, to be exact. Everything I've read says zone 10 and 11, but I'd really like to try. I've read that some people have been able to, but can't find any growing tips. I don't want to grow it indoors unless I have to, but I don't mind wintering it. I like it, but keeping it indoors the scent just gets too strong!

i've got 77 acorns into some ground I sort of worked down. Anyway all the acorns have sprouted/ germinated whatever you call it so they are all fit. However do I need to keep the acorns in the dark for awhile or something? The acorns are outside in the elements behind some wire mesh fencing will they be ok?

Whats else do i need to know to grow oak saplings? and later trees?

I got a bench at a yard sale that is wooden and it is solid and the wood is hard. I want to know if ti would stand up to the weather outside. I have the perfect spot for it in my garden but I don't know if it would stand up outside. What do you think?
