Obviously you can't staple to metal wall though maybe to posts which seem to be about 16 inches apart. I have a lot of insulation left to me by the previous owner, but I'm not sure how to fasten the insulation bags to the wall?

I want to install a ceiling fan in a bedroom. There is no existing light fixture in the room. The switch in the bedroom just powers on an outlet. I want to install the ceiling fan and have the switch control it.

Will this be possible?

My chair was fine this morning, but now its stuck leaning all the way back. My brother told me he was sitting it in backwards with his knees where the seat and backrest meet, and was leaning forward that way when it went back and won't return.

I see a lever that will raise and lower it, as well as another adjustments that you can twist.

I am installing porcelain tile flooring and need to use a jigsaw to cut special cuts. The blade I have (recommended by the hardware store guy) isn't working (its edge looks a little like sandpaper). The book I have said to use a tungsten carbide blade. If a jigsaw blade (the one that came with the saw) cuts metal, will it work for porcelain tile and make a decently clean cut? The edges will be covered with quarter-round shoe molding so it's not vitally important, but would be nice.

ugh, sorry this is so disgusting. I was shaving my legs and then I used the showerhead, which sprayed the water (and my little hairs) all over the wall. I didn't think the hairs would stick to the paint on the wall, and now there are little hairs stuck in the paint. Sorry, I know I'm disgusting, my question is, is there any way to get them off? I am renting and I don't want to lose my security deposit. Additionally, I hate that I did that to the wall. This is embarrassing and I'd like to just deal with it without having to explain to my landlord what happened.

I bought a dishwasher Friday and am installing it myself. I bought a dishwasher stainless steel install kit...it included a power cord a water line and the hardware. The power cord is flat and 3 pronged...the cord color is gray and I stripped the ends off the wires. The middle wire is color coded green for the ground but the other two are still gray. I called the company but they wouldn't tell me anything...The plug itself has letters on it Z W and G. The G is the green for ground but which ones are the Z and W. Is the W white and the Z black??????
