being a builder for a long time i would recomend what is known as a polyurethane adhesive. comes in tubes like calk. check at home depot ect. this stuff REALLY holds everything. try and brace it ,untill it drys. say no to the liquid nail stuff. the polly glue will not come apart.something will tear or break to get it apart! dont try nothing else. its permenent.

If this is outside i would recommend drilling into the mortar and putting mortar ancors inside and bolt the sign in. I know you said you couldnt drill but if this sign is going to be permanent, glueing it up would be a half *** job that would eventually fail to the elements. If the sign is temporary then yeah glue it up with an adhesive that says it bonds to brick, otherwise take the time to do it right, or you will find the sign on the ground to do it again.

I'd use an epoxy cement or a putty. You need something that will bond into the rough surface of the brick and also stick to the metal. Make sure that there is no loose material on the wall or grease on the metal and it should be fine.

Gorilla Glue (insert trade mark sign here) will glue anything to anything. It is strong and waterproof. It also expands to fill in gaps, such as you'd find on rough surfaces like brick.

i woundn't suggest anything to glue metal to brick as metal does not glue very well and brick will flake. what is the reason for not being able to drill in wall?

When all else fails, we use Gorilla Glue. Keep in mind that a little bit goes a long way as the glue expands to fill in cracks.

Gorilla Glue can't be beat, it's cheap and worth much more. I don't think there's anything it won't glue. It takes around 3-4 hours to set, and of course you'll need something to hold the two peices together while it's setting.

how about No Nails?

it should work, if u find a way of keeping on the wall while the glue dries.
I suggest some gaffer tape.

Buy "No More Nails" glue - I heard recently on this page that someone tried to get something off their wall, to take it with them, & it took a chunk of plaster off with it!!!

5 minute epoxy. they other methods like liquid nail and gorilla glue will work i guess but there set up time is slow. jb weld is really great stuff but it is an epoxy as well. so just get 5 minute epoxy mix and attach. it be there for ever.
