we have borrowed a mountfield quiet garden shredder 2200w and a piece of wood got stuck in it so my partner used a long handled screwdriver to move the stuck piece, unfortunately dropped it in the shredder and the aluminium plate had snapped we cant afford to replace the shredder but are hoping to replace the part - please can someone help urgently i have tried looking on the net but it is not easy trying to find info with a 2 year old hanging on your arm! :(

Hardware stores, garden centres. If hard to find identical one for your model of strimmer, buy same type (light guage or heavy) and transfer to spool of original. Its a bit fiddly but worth it cos it maybe cheaper than original.
