I could either make storage space in there, or another room. The attic is big, and very high to the roof. What should I do with that space ?

First you need to make sure your ceiling joists are strong enough to support the weight of plywood, walls, flooring, furniture, people, etc. If it is, then you need to make sure you have room to build some stairs. By code in most places they have to be 3ft wide with a rise no more than 7 and tread depth no less than 10". Then you need to figure out if you can tie into the existing hvac and if you have room in your breaker box to add one or two more circuits and if you can even get a wire from the attic to the breaker box. Then what about the insulation; is your ceiling joists or the rafters insulated. Your creating a new living space so you must insulate accordingly while still allowing airflow below the roof sheathing to prevent condensation. There are many things to consider and wish you luck.

Do your layout for the area to figure out the amount of plywood you'll need for the floor. Do all your cuts down below. You may have to enlarge the access opening to get the plywood upthere. Then layout your bottom plate and secure that. I would use screws for that. Figure out the heighth and cut the studs. Set the corners first and attatch the top plate. Then mark off where your studs will be placed. 16 " centers. Make sure you have nailers in place for drywall. Frame in the door so it marries up to your access. Get it on brother. Before you know it you,ll have a nice quiet persnal space or part of it could be storage, whatever you wish to do. Have fun with it.
