I plumbed conduit on my patio for three boxes. 2 of the boxes on the ends I hung ceiling fans on. The box in the middle I want to put a light. But, I want to match the ceiling fan lights. I thought I would buy the matching light kit and hang it in the middle of my patio.

I have changed the spout. I took the handle off it is a one handle kind. I see no washers. Are they deeper? How hard is it to just change the faucet? I have to do this my self. I can not afford a plumber. If I know the basics and have directions with I cant find on the internet I can do it.

I am renovating a bar and the previous people put this awful heavy texture all over the walls as well as the wooden support beams. Also, the beams have had a lot of the texture knocked off and I think it would not look good if I sanded it down and repainted. What can I cover it with to make it look nice?? I was thinking 8" tiles ?? Steel ?? HELP :)

I am having trouble using the edger for refinishing my hardwood floors. It works great for about two feet but then the sandpaper gets gummed up and starts to melt and smear the finish rather than sand. Considering the cost of sandpaper and the amount of time it takes to change sheets, I would really appreciate any tips on how to make this easier.

I understand the huge amount of work it can be, but I can get materials cheaper than "pre-fab" tubs and build something I REALLY want. I'm a decent woodworker, and building the frame with plywood walls should be no great challenge. My concern is being absolutely certain the tiles will be water-tight for years to come. Leaks just aren't an option, but neither is paying $400 for a stupid shower-tub!

I painted my room about 3 years ago this beautiful color blue and I need to retouch bad but when I retouch it the paint is glossy while the rest of the old paint is dull. Is there a way to dull the paint or am I going to have to repaint the whole room?

Also if I do have to repaint the room and decide to change colors how many times can you repaint walls before they need to be stripped. I am afraid of putting too many layers on the wall. Also my walls have the popcorn texture.... not sure what its actually technically called.

I was changing the doorknob and the air conditioner blew the door shut, with both knobs on the other side...now I am trapped in here. I've been here all day, please help. I'm very hungry, and I am on the third floor so the window is not an option. Yes, I know what a dumbass I am.
