I'm installing a Grohe showerbar and need to drill holes in the shower to install. I need to know if it's OK to drill off center as I believe the plumbing is at the center between the 2 valves up to the arm. and not have to worry about drilling into the plumbing.

I need a storm door that measures 32" by 78". Two inches shorter than the standard. No where seems to sell them, and it costs a fortune to get a custom one. Any ideas on what to do? I live in Delaware if that matters!

Can anyone tell me if it is neccessary to put knotting on new wood before staining? I have learnt from experience that you have to do it before painting but if it's not essential before applying stain it will be one job less in amongst a mountain of things that I have to do !!Honestly.....I love this house but I am beginning to think that I must be insane to be doing this alone !!

I would really like to start making candles. I can't find the smell I really like any more. I was looking for wax and there is so many of them I don't know which kind to use. I will be making jar candles and I want to use a single pour wax.

No fixes are needed to be made to the wall, just need to more info on how to clean the walls and which techniques are best when using a roller (like painting vertically, then horizontally, etc.). And how are you supposed to break the wall into sections for painting but without being able to know where you stopped, after the project is done?
