take a cold shower, but dont dry yourself, lay down the warm air will cause a longer cooling affect as it drys you, this will hopefully allow you to get off to sleep, failing this sleep in the kitchen.

You might try getting a ocillating fan, the kind that rotates back and forth and a pan of ice from the freezer and let the air blow across the ice to cool the air in your room. Do it a bout 30 minutes before you go to bed and it should cool the room down a lot and then replenish the ice when you go to bed.

Check the vents make sure they aren't clogged. You can try closing the vents in rooms not used during the night. If all else fails a fan turned away from u so u dont wake up stuffy and a nice set of cotton sheets they are cooler than others...Hope this helps....Good night

You could try installing a fan in your room. Drinking fluids helps me get through the heat, as well as dunking myself into fluids (quick showers, baths, etc).

Remove excess covers on your bed as that contains the heat from your body

Your problem is actually poor air circulation. Check out the vents in your A/C system... or buy an electric fan and turn it on with the fan facing up so that air will circulate.

Shut the vents in the kitchen and where ever else you dont need them at night. More air should blow into your bedroom.

Try taking a nice cool bath before bed... then dress in cotton only, with cotton sheet cover, if you need one.
