I would really like to start making candles. I can't find the smell I really like any more. I was looking for wax and there is so many of them I don't know which kind to use. I will be making jar candles and I want to use a single pour wax.

you could use a mix of beeswax and parafin , or a soy based wax. both work equally as well, but beeswax may interfere with the scent, since it already has its own scent

I make jar candles, too. I like to use parafin, bees wax or soy wax. I also use non-lead wicks.

Just don't use crayons to color them. They don't burn!
