I' m preparing to move into a flat and the kitchen has no wall cabinets. I'm thinking of fitting some myself, but the available wall space has 4 different plug sockets. I've heard that you shouldn't (or can't) drill above sockets. Is there another way I can have cabinets? The kitchen is very small so I need as much storage space as possible.

Can anyone give some advice on wall tile grouting.
I have tried various methods. Squeegee, grout float, finger, plastic tool.
Also I find when you wipe down with a sponge or cloth it usually disturbes the grout anyway.

Should I leave it a certain amount of time between putting the grout in and going around with a sponge? But not so long for it to dry?

I also have trouble getting a nice smooth finish to the grout.

The couch has wooden legs and every time someone sits down it slides a little. There isn't room against the wall to put the couch due to large windows and air conditioning vents. My sister swears there are furniture stoppers to put under the legs but I have looked everywhere on line and can't find anything like what I am looking for. All I can find is floor protectors. Thanks in advance for your answers!

I have 2 bed bases here (on paper)

1.
$89.00 and slatted bed base.

2.
$50.00 without slatted bad base.

I want the one without the bed base because its cheaper but this wont wreck the bed or mattress or even make it harder will it??

Extra.. Is a slatted bed base the same and the slatts that holds the mattress??

I'm about top redecorate my mothers kitchen for her and it is a very large room. The problem is it has wall paper on all the walls. For most of the other rooms I used a wall paper steamer, but this room is so big and it would take forever to steam all of it off. if that's what i HAVE to do, so be it. But I wanted to know if there was an easier way to cover up or peel off wall paper.

By the way... I know you can judt "pain over" it, but that's tacky. Are there other ways of going about it?

Thank you!

I've been looking at Frontgate, Restoration Hardware, Crate and Barrel, ect., but they don't seem to have what I'm looking for - what other companies have high end accessories/hardware? I'm looking for trashcan, soap dispenser, towel tray, shelves, and hooks in a brushed chrome/nickel color.

Live in a rural area. New construction. There's no trees, none! We have an acre and a half, its long and narrow. The back yard butts up to the back yards of two neighbors along the right side and to our next door neighbor on the other side. Any ideas on how to create a fun space would be great. Thanks
