Where can I get a color wheel? Can I download one off the net? Also, can you mix alkyd paint with other paints. I have alot of different colors, already mixed and want to mix then together to make other colors. Other than trial and error, is there a chart of somekind to give and idea of what youll get by mixing two or three together? Help, Thanks!

We purchased a double wide mobile home. First thing we did was rip out kichen including the wall, it was a a angle, we want to see the kitchen from the front door. Is there a site where you can see what a kitchen would look like, including where to put wall, in 3D or where you can place walls and cabinets? Plan to build cabinets myself. Thanks!

Can anyone tell me where I can buy ready made gingham blinds please? I have searched high and low for red gingham blinds for my kitchen but can't find any in shops or online! The closes thing I have found is red gingham material in Laura Ashley and I could have them made but if I could find ready made ones that would be great! I am in the UK.

I have painted a (bedroom) feature wall in suede effects, colour Mineral Green.
What would be a good colour to paint the other three walls?
And what about the window architraves?
I'm not adventurous with colour and would prefer a muted shade.
All ideas are appreciated.

about 4 months ago, i got my first 1bdrm apartment, and no matter what i do, i can never get my apartment to have my "touch". I dnt got much money, so expensive add-ons are out! im not allowed to paint the apartment, and i cant really alter it much, but how do i get a good energy vibe in my apartment? it just seems pretty boring in here, and im always home, so i want a more vibrant environment. I also want my apartment to kinda have an Indian touch to it to reflect my culture. i have Indian calendars everywhere, pictures of deities such as Ganesh,Krshna, Amba, etc...and i wrote words on the wall out of red powder(washes off, commonly used in prayers)...and i got a few Indian textiles up. There's not much furniture...just stuff passed down to me...and i just wanna know how I can give it my "touch" without being too costly. I cant buy furniture, or "fancy things"...how can i make my apartment my home?

I am turning my attached garage 20x40 into a finished room for the house. It has a concrete floor with only a few hair line cracks (nothing is heaved or uneven) and doesent seep or leak.

What I need is a durable floorcovering (cannot be carpet) that looks nice and is very reasonable in price. Suggestions?

We just got this house and it has the most awkward floor plan that I've ever seen. I was wondering if anyone has this style of home and if so, how did you situate your furniture?

I read an article that said a cheap way to make an old coffee table top look nice is to wall paper it. Do you think this would be tacky looking?

I live in an apartment that is basically one room and I want to paint. Do you have to stick to one color or can you divide the room into areas? How do you go about making the decision to divide the room. Do you have to use colors of the same family? Any advice would be a great help.
