After two attempts the paint I've put on my ceiling still looks like I've missed spots or applied it unevenly. The paint is throughly mixed and when applied looks purplish in collor and is supposed to dry white. Instead it has very uneven white markings.

bedding and other things in it. My MIN gets the magazine, and I have seen a bedding set in there that I want. I remember that the set was broken down and priced by item, and it was pretty expensive. I just would like to find a list of companies that send catalouges to your house through the mail. You know, once you get one, you get a hundred! I really want this item for my new house. Thanks!! BTW..I have done searces on the net for this, and searches for 'list of mail order catalogs'.

I am FINALLY purchasing a bedroom set and am trying to decide if it's really worth it/necessary to purchase a headboard and footboard. You can't buy just the headboard, so I'd have to pay for all or nothing. (I currently have just the bed on a regular metal frame, which is hidden by a bedskirt.) While I do like the look of a headboard and footboard, I hate to spend another $400 to just get them. What is your opinion? Does it really add that much to the overall feel of the room? (By the way, I am not the sort of person who would even attempt make my own headboard, so no need to suggest that...) : )

We are selling our home. Our Realtor told us with a master upstairs we need to deduct $5000.00 off our selling price of our home. Is this correct?

This entire project is being paid for out of my own pocket (I'm 15 and I don't have a job other than the odd jobs I can pick up, so simply put, I'm really low on the income, parents won't pay a cent).

One wall is going to be black/white diamonds, another red/black diamonds, one black with hand-drawn anime characters, one covered with posters. The ceiling wil be back with the Hellsing rune on it. The windows will have one black, one white curtain, and there will be dangling lights, and spotlights of different colors, installed.

I've been searching the internet for cheap furniture and decor but all I've found is an official bedding set and some pillows. I can't seem to find any really good places for anything and I'm stuck. Thrift stores near me are checked all the time but I'm stuck with places to go that sell for low to medium prices. I've got a couple hundred dollars to spend and I can push that to 1,000 if I really push, but I'm stuck.

Are there any ways I can get what I want?

im painting walls in my family room a very dark red im using a high quality paint (benjamin moore) i first primed the walls with a tinted red primer just like your supposed to. After applying 2 coats it looked terrible (uneven coverage, and roller marks) iv'e painted many times before and never had this problem. Iv'e used every possible technique i could think of (the 'w' method 'n' method 'v' method ,diagonal strokes horizontal strokes etc, etc.) after about the 4th coat i began to get better coverage however when the paint dries there are visible vertical lines . Iv'e tried 1/4 inch nap rollers 1/2 inch and 3/8's but to no avail always the same result. I'm careful to make sure to blend each new sectoin of paint withe the previous so as to keep a wet edge until the wall is done but still the same result , this past sunday i painted the 8th coat with 1/4 inch roller and ended up with a few less lines but still too many noticable lines.
