How can I get the smell of dog pee out of my hardwood floor? I've even tried pine sol!?

Wish i could help here i really do, but i don't think there's an answer. My mom rented her house to dog owners. when they moved out we found out they used one of the spare bedrooms as the Dog's room. We tried EVERYTHING to get out the smell and finally just had to redo the room, ripping out the floors and pressure cleaning/repainting the walls.
