Does it make any difference in price whether the stamping is horizontal or vertical? Is the going rate around $10.00 a square foot? I have a quote from a great company that quarantees their work...but it is coming in at more than $15.00 a square foot. My driveway is only about 800 square feet and my patio area is around 250 square feet. Is this the problem? Are they charging more because it's a small job? Or, does it make any difference in price that I'm asking for two different patterns? I need to have an answer tomorrow for my contractor. My contractor won't let me contact the sub on this. . . That's why I'm asking you for help!

My husband, my baby and I are moving into a 3 bedroom, two bath house. I was wondering, what would be a nice color for the kitchen that has white cabinets? The living room that will have maroon (a little brighter than maroon) sofas? What about the hallway that goes from the kitchen to the living room? It's fairly narrow, but I would like colors that separate the rooms. And ideas? Thanks!

I have a rectangle shaped room. When you open the door there is room for the bed against one wall, then at the other end of the rectangle is the closet (has three sliding doors). Along the sides of this "rectangle" room I have the dressers lined up (to give you an idea of what this room looks like). Doesn't leave much room for the computer desk, or dressers. Right now I have two dressers and 2 nightstands, a full length mirror-freestanding and of course the computer desk....How can I utilize all this cluttered space? The closet is stuffed, no room to put furniture in. Any ideas?

I have blue walls with a gray blue carpet. That would make for ugly curtains. Do they really need to match?

I have a red bed comforter, black sheets.. and my carpet is just a normal beige color. I have a really flashy style and I'm not afraid of color... but my parents want something a little more conservative... I'd like to meet them halfway..

I have two very large plain glass mirrors on my bathroom walls (builders standard issue for bathrooms here in FL). They have no casing or framing around them and are soooo ugly. Does anyone have any ideas or tips on how to make these look nicer without totally having to remove them?

I'm looking for a low (but wide) cabinet (not one of those tall towers) and a matching medicine cabinet for my bathroom. I want it to be relatively sturdy and good quality, but it may not be permanent in our house, so I don't want to spend too much money. I've looked at Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware and Ikea, but the first two are too expensive and Ikea didn't have the right thing. Any other ideas of where to look? Oh - and the first one we bought, thinking that it would be temporary was from Target and the quality was awful. It was cheap, so we got what we paid for, but I don't want to do that again. So something between Target and Pottery Barn in terms of price.

i think the only way to fix this is to get the silver off the back and have a new mirror cut to fit and place on the back. any suggestions on how to get the finish off or where in upstate ny to bring it to? it is an art deco mirror with blue glass panels on the side.

We are currently remodeling our kitchen and I have always wanted a stainless steel sink so it can match all of our appliances. I keep hearing how hard they are to manage and they have to be wiped down after every use. Is it worth it or should we get a white sink? I really want the stainless steel sink. Any thoughts and advice would be great. Thank you.

I intend use 4 stage turbine HVLP to spray latex paint. I have not found any concrete information on what the proper viscosity of the paint should be or if it can be thinned at all. Most HVLP sprayers can not spray unthinned latex.
