Because I'm having this problem that happened just today while in my dorm. It was gross.

Nothing you eat with is supposed to taste like soap no matter how much was used during the washing step.. Someone may have forgotten the "supposed to rinse after washing" step.

If you are using a two galen sink or tub, don't use more than a tea spoon of liquid soap. Then reins the dishes in a equal size tub with no soap just water.The soap residue can and will give you the runs. Sins your dishes tasted like soap let me leave with this Thoth. Happy pooping.

you know those little dessert spoons that come with almost any flatware/silverware set? You can fill up one of those spoons with soap and then wash the silverware---and then rinse it well with clear hot water...

Just a little squirt per sinkful of water & rinse, rinse, rinse w/clean water.
