First you will need 2 3way and 1 4way switch and some 12/3 romex. The 4 way will be installed between the 2 3way switches. Also youll need some 12/2 wire. In the first 3 way, doesnt matter which end, you will have 1-12/2 and 1-12/3 wire (whites or neutral tie together and cap off, black from 12/2 is either your power source or light leg and goes to the single color screw on 3way, the black and red from the 12/3 are your travelers and go on the two same color screws on the 3way, 1 wire per each screw). Now for your center box which will contain the 4way(2 sets of 12/3 wire go in here, with whites tying together and capping off, 1 set of 12/3black and red usually go on one side of 4way or may go on top and bottom screws depending on 4way manufacture, and the other set of black and red 12/3 go to the opposite side from 1st pair). Now the last box will set up exactly as first box with the 12/2 black either being power or light leg to light itself depending on how you set up 1st box. Now you can add as many 4ways in between the 3ways as you want and set up exactly as the 4way box. Now on the power side 3way the 12/2 black is your hot or power and the white ties ties to neutral, and on the light side, the 12/2 black and white go to the light itself and color codes to the lights wires. If switches dont work right, try playing with the wires in the 4way, either side to side or top to top. Good luck
